I have a thinkpad notebook, T43 and I want to recover my hard drive with it's Rescue and Recovery. I've made another partition with partition magic program and I want to know if it will format that partition too or just the primary partition (C partition). If it does so, should I backup my data myself to another data storage or is there anyway with my own computer?

Well, this WiKi is not a user support forum. Why don't you ask this in one of the forums or mailing lists? Your chances of getting an useful reply will be that much higher, then.
