hello this is pitsche.

i wanted to buy a thinkpad, but than i heard about the TCPA- or TCG-Chip inside the models build after 2000.

it took me some days to collect the needed information and hyperlinks, so i want to share all this with you ;-)

BTW: The Thinkpad, that I now want to buy is a ThinkPad A30 or a ThinkPad A22p or something like that with a resolution from SXGA+ or UXGA, if it has only no Embedded Security Subsystem :-) Why that? Read this article to learn why...
