UltraBay II HDD Adapter (11J8836)

This is a HDD adapter that slides into an UltraBay II.

  • One IDE slot for a 2.5-inch, 7 or 9.5 or 12.7-millimeter HDD/SSD/SSHD

  1. This HDD adapter requires a caddy tray/bracket to be screwed onto the 2.5-inch storage drive, which can be either a 760 series caddy (FRU: 11J8943) or a 770 series caddy (FRU: 11J8942). Other caddies will not work as they are physically incompatible.

Linux support

If connected at boot time, the drive is normally /dev/sdb.
