Compose Key
It seems that the compose key - right CTRL - does not function correctly in Ubuntu 10.04.
It should have a dual function; if its pressed together with C,V,X, whatever, it acts just as CTRL does, but if its pressed it by itself, it will act as compose.
If in System > Preferences > Keyboard > Layout > Other Options right CTRL is turned as compose off, the CTRL function is restored, but obviously, compose is turned off.
So now I'm left with only one working CTRL key
