New Memory Split Option

Linux Kernel 2.6.16 has a new Memory split option:

Processor type and features → Memory split → 3G/1G user/kernel split (for full 1G low memory) (CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G_OPT)

So, if you have 1 GB of memory you no longer need to compile the kernel with highmem support.
