Web NavigationKeys

Some models from the i Series had a colorful set of Web Navigation Keys in the same place where other ThinkPads have the volume keys. When the i Series vanished, those keys vanished as well, except for the IBM Rapid Access Keyboard III which featured six of them.

With the A30 IBM reintroduced those 6 programmable extra keys for web navigation. They only lasted throughout the four models of this series since the A series was discontinued after the A31p.

The keys are freely configurable, but their default purposes (expressed by their labelling) are:

  • Mail (blue in i Series models)
