Composite video is caried on the inner pin closest to pin 1. An official converter cable exists (parts 27L0531, 27L0532). This pinout is the same as some PowerBooks, so an Apple accessory should work, too.

Over the years, IBM used two different ports to provide TV-Out connection. These are:

  • proprietary mini plug, requiring an adapter cable
  • S-Video port
