General Notes
If you don't have a CD-ROM solution, please look at Installation on ThinkPads without CD-ROM drive.
Some users may experience lockups while resuming from ACPI sleep when dri is enabled. Using the radeonfb patch (included in 2.6.18 and later) fixes it. The patch also takes care of the problem with high power drain in ACPI sleep.
