The P52 is powered through a [[Power_Connector#slim_tip|Slim Tip]] connector. The USB-C ports can only supply power to other devices, they can not accept power. The P52 comes with a 170 W Slim Tip charger. It will also work on a 135 W charger, but on a 90 W charger the laptop will only charge its battery when it is off or suspended. When running, the P52 will ignore a 90 W power supply and run entirely from battery. The P52 also does not recognize a 300 W charger at all, probably because it is newer than the P52.

Power Supply

The P52 is powered through a Slim Tip connector. The USB-C ports can only supply power to other devices, they can not accept power. The P52 comes with a 170 W Slim Tip charger. It will also work on a 135 W charger, but doing so for a few weeks destroyed my 135W charger. On a 90 W charger the laptop will only charge its battery when it is in standby or off; when running, the P52 will ignore a 90 W power supply and run entirely from battery. The P52 also does not recognize a 300 W charger at all, probably because it is newer than the P52.
