Linux and ThinkPad enthusiast :-) For a few months now, I have settled with my setup. It comprises a 14 inch WS T61, a docked X41T and a headless, docked T30 with a PCI DVB-S card.
I also have a few ThinkPads that mostly collect dust: a 560X and a A30p.
X41 Tablet specifics
By default, in a debian based system, bluetooth is on. To have it switched off every time you boot, at the following line in your /etc/rc.local
echo "disable" > /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth
