Intel Core 2 DuoThe Intel 2 Core is the successor of the Intel Core Duo (Yonah) processor. Even if the name seems like a second version, the Core 2 Duo is "only" a mobile version of the desktop processor with the same name and not designed for mobile applications in the first place like its predecessor. The architecture is changed in many ways, which introduced EM64T and improved the performance by up to 25 percent. The 667 MHz FSB versions are part of the "Napa"- and the 800MHz FSB versions of the "Santa Rosa"-platform. It is part of the hardware from both the Centrino Duo and Centrino Pro brands. Features
